Amy Willis Burns

Amy Burns is an innovative music teacher with a keen eye for the amazing things technology can do to advance the musical opportunities, exposure, and experiences for our children. Her passion for teaching kids and ability to explore multiple perspectives to help other music teachers find purposeful (and efficient) ways to implement technology are amazing! Amy teaches at the Far Hills Country Day School, PK-4th Grade, also working with older students in various capacities. She received her Bachelor of Music in Education and Performance from Ithaca College and a Master of Science in Music Education from Central Connecticut State University (CCSU)She also holds TI:ME levels 1 and 2 certifications as well as Orff level 1 certification, Kodály level 1 certification, Google Certifications Levels 1 and 2, Apple Teacher, Seesaw and Book Creator Ambassadors, a Feierabend First Steps in Music Certification, and is working on her International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Certification.
